Communication:- Communication is the basic way of exchanging information. It is the medium to convey their thoughts,
ideas, feelings to one another.
Human beings communicate with one other over thousand of years. At that time the
mediums of communication are words, letters, oral speeches,etc. Now a days we are using electronic devices to communicate with one other which base on a system, that
system is known as a Communication System.
Communication System:- A communication system is a is a device or a set up
used in the transmission of information from one place to another.
- Nature of Communication System:- It may
be electrical, electronic or optical

Transmitter,

Communication Channel

Receiver
In communication system, the transmitter is
located at one place and receiver at some other place. The transmitter and
receiver is connected by physical medium. this physical medium is called Channel. The
channel may be in form of wires or cables or wireless ( It depends upon type of
communication system). 
Ø There
are two basic modes of communication :
1) Point to Point Communication:- In point to point communication mode communication takes place over a link between a single transmitter and a receiver. (e.g. Telephony.
2) Broadcast:- In the Broadcast mode, there are large numbers of receivers corresponding to a single transmitter.( Radio And Television )
