Planck’s Quantum
Theory :-:
This theory was proposed by Plank to explain the
blackbody radiation. According to this theory light is propagated in the form
of packets of light energy called quanta. Each quantum of light called photon
has energy E = hv, where v is frequency of light and ‘h’ is Planck’s constant.
